Food Safety Management
The ISO 22000 - food safety management standard provides specific requirements for a food safety management system that will enhance your ability to consistently deliver products and services that meet customer, as well as statutory and regulatory demands.
ISO 22000 Certification specifies the requirements for a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) standard. Any organization associated with the food industry can apply for ISO 22000 certification, small and large; all food producers have the responsibility to ensure food safety.
FSSC 22000 is a food safety certification scheme based on the existing internationally recognized standard ISO 22000 and complemented by technical standards, such as ISO TS 22002-1 for food manufacturing and ISO TS 22002-4 for packaging manufacturing.
ISO 22000 recognized key elements to ensure food safety along the food chain including:
-
Interactive communication.
-
system management.
-
Food safety hazard control using prerequisite programs and HACCP.
-
Continual improvement and food safety management system updates.
